Hi! My name is Lisa Christensen. I thought since this was an educational website informing you about education, it would help you understand my information if you knew a little bit about me.
I was born in Logan, Utah and went to public school in Lewiston until third grade. I loved it. We had the best specials. We would get to do an art project every other Friday as well as participate in some fun physical activity. I didn't realize it then but it really helped me with my school work. I got the chance to escape my school work and just have fun. It was very enriching.
Fourth grade I began my schooling in Kimberly, ID. We also had specials but they weren't as fun. I feel as if the budget went somewhere else, testing. We had a lot of tests and teachers were vocal about how the were very concerned with test scores because they would warn us that they were being graded on how well we did. I didn't learn that way and feel a little robbed of my education.
In high school I took many dual enrollment classes which really helped me prepare for college. I really appreciate that aspect of my education. In high school I was also involved in many sports so I was very involved and had a great time. I had a much better attitude towards school when I was involved and challenged.
I am currently going to school at Utah State challenging myself every day. I want to major in Communications and then continue on to get my Masters in HR. I am excited to see where I will go in this life.
